Setting the load on a spring support should be done after allhydro-testing has been completed. The first step would be to remove thehydro-test stops. Then, one would utilize the load column to adjust the tensionon the spring unit so that its load is equal to the installed setting (coldsetting). At that time, the other travel stop can be removed, allowing thespring to properly function.
