There are two major causes for snubber failure.The first one would be due to overloading. Snubbers may not function properlyif fluid levels are low. If designed for the proper load and maintained, thesnubber should not fail. Second major cause of snubber failure would be anincorrect installation and/or miscalculation of the total amount of movementrequired.
