This cold shoe is manufactured from carbon steel and has 2-1/2″ thick polyurethane insulation. It is designed to support a vertical load of 2700 lb. and can withstand a temperature range from -100°F to 70°F. The cold shoe will be used in a 60″ diameter thermal energy storage tank for power generation.

These foam glass-PUF hybrid insulated supports are designed for a temperature range of 77°F to -300°F. They are designed for a 16″ diameter pipe and have a load capacity of 11,050 lb. The 2-1/2″ thick insulation consist of foam glass on the upper half and polyurethane (PUF) on the bottom half. The clamps, ribs and base are fabricated from A-36 carbon steel.

PT&P manufactured 72″ dia. insulated supports for temperatures as low as -260°F. The insulation is multi-layered comprised of polyurethane foam with a density of 20 PCF, a vapor barrier, an aluminum metal jacket, and acoustic pads. The acoustic pads are installed around the cold shoe to absorb vibration. The base and bearing plates are fabricated from carbon steel. The shoes will be used to support and insulate piping in a receiving & regassification plant and refinery.

The operating temperature for these cryogenic shoes ranges from -290°F to 90°F. They are designed for 56″ diameter pipe and are capable of supporting loads up to 40,000 lb. The insulation is multi-layered comprised of 20 PCF polyurethane, a vapor barrier, an aluminum metal jacket, and acoustic pads. The acoustic pads are installed around the cold shoe to absorb vibration. The base and bearing plates are fabricated from carbon steel.
The hot shoes are fabricated from A-36 carbon steel with 304 stainless steel slide plates. The 18″ dia. hot shoe has a maximum vertical load of 5500 lb. and the 24″ dia. hot shoe is capable of loads up to 13,750 lb. All the supports in this project are designed for temperatures of up to 1200°F. In addition to the insulation, these supports are capable of sliding axially or laterally as part of the piping system.

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. manufactured high temperature rotational and axial stop insulated supports for styrene lines in a petrochemical complex. The supports have an overall outside diameter of 58″ and are capable of handling temperatures up to 1500°F. They are fabricated from a combination of carbon steel for the top and stainless steel for the bottom. The hot shoes include Belleville washers, an Inconel 800HT rotational insert assembly, and high density fire temperature insulation.

These low-temperature base supports are fabricated from carbon steel with a hot dipped galvanize finish and range from 23″ to 37″ in height. The supports are 18″ in diameter with a base plate of 20″W x 20″L x 1″H and are designed to support pipes ranging in size from 24″ to 30″. The clamp and base are fabricated from carbon steel that includes a hot dipped galvanized finish. The 4″ thick insulation is a high density calcium silicate. These guided supports allow for a maximum axial travel of plus or minus 4 1/2″ and have a vertical load rating of 7,100 lb. The operating temperature of the pipe may exceed 1,200ºF, therefore the hot shoes are designed for 1,700ºF. These heavy duty base mounted pipe supports are specially designed to be installed on four emergency diesel exhaust mufflers in a hospital.

Designed for a pipe size of 84″, this pre-insulated pipe support is able to withstand temperatures up to 1,220ºF. It is a wide base sliding hot shoe with up to 2″ of axial travel and 3″ of lateral travel. It can support loads up to 33,721 lb. and the support itself weighs approximately 1,900 lb. This high temperature pre-insulated pipe support will be utilized in a styrene plant.
